Each tote features our Chicana logo, which was created by Bobby Gaytan, an Idaho-based artist.
Bobby was born in Nampa, Idaho where he grew up as a 3rd generation migrant farmworker. He and his family would migrate yearly from South Texas to Michigan to Idaho in search of farm work.
He started admiring graffiti as a teen and fell in love with art soon after. He earned a BFA in Graphic Design from Boise State University in 2001. He currently works as an Illustrator at the Bureau of Reclamation and also does freelance work such as murals, graphic design, and commissioned art.
Aside from being a creative, he is involved in the non-profit community where he focuses on programs that are geared towards helping youth achieve their goals.
Our goal is to commission more Idaho artists to create limited edition designs for our merchandise using the same give-back model. We already have an artist lined up for this fall that we know you’ll love!
